Nidhi Saxena, born in Allahabad, is an Indian writer, firebrand poet and entrepreneur. Love Chameleon, Nidhi’s first book of poems was arguably one of the boldest works of poetry coming from the Indian sub-continent and enjoyed a niche audience.
Love Chameleon has been featured in several publications including Femina, Times of India, Deccan Chronicle among others. Zidd Poetry, her YouTube channel has an avid viewership and features poems of love and of protest dealing with taboo topics from fascism and feminism to sexuality and dysphoria and the irony of love in millennial times. Interlaced with dark satire, dry wit and deep sensitivity and delivered in her own iconoclastic style, these works are designed to question the status quo while bringing an occasional goose bump or two. Nidhi is now working on her second book, a full-fledged novel set in Mumbai, New York and China that weaves the intricate story of three start-up entrepreneurs against the backdrop of a world in turmoil.
Nidhi holds an MBA from the prestigious SP Jain Institute of Management and Research, Mumbai and juggles a fast-paced management career with writing. She writes in English, Hindi and Urdu and is dabbling in French. While she is currently based in San Francisco, the writer in her is at best unsettled.
